Dads of Oakham CE Primary School pupils enjoy pampering in honour of Father's Day

Dads paid a visit to Oakham CE Primary School on Friday morning for a pampering morning in honour of Father’s Day.

The Foundation Stage class hosted the event with a massage area, shaving zone and a hair gel zone.

There was also ball games and homemade shortbread biscuits to enjoy and every dad, as well as the uncles and grandparents that were there, left wearing a handmade cardboard tie.

Headteacher Steve Cox said there were lots of apprehensive dads beforehand but added: “No-one left without a bit of shaving foam behind their ears. It was all good fun and the children really love welcoming their dads into their school world and showing them everything.”
