Dangerous driving arrest over two-lorry A1 crash north of Stamford

A man has been arrested in connection with a two-lorry crash on the A1 this morning (Wednesday) that went on to cause traffic chaos on the A1.

Emergency services were called to the northbound carriageway just after 6.20am.

Lincolnshire Police has confirmed a man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.

A spokesman added: "As a result of this collision, roads northbound and southbound were partially closed while vehicles were recovered and traffic is still affected in the area."
