Stamford AFC have clinched a three-year deal with local firm Precision Sports and Workwear Ltd to provide both playing kits and training wear for all areas of the club.

This includes home and away gear for the Northern Premier League team and also match kit for the 250 young players representing sides of all age groups being successfully nurtured by the Young Daniels.

The kit will originate from leading international sports goods manufacturer Uhlsport based in Balingen, Germany.

Precision director Bob Green, accompanied by Uhlsport representatives, led a presentation to the club executive at which approval was given for the deal.

Club director of football Guy Walton said: “We are delighted to be working with Precision Sports, partly because it is a very good deal but very much because they are a local company and Bob Green is an important part of the sporting community.”

Mr Green is also delighted to be working with the Daniels. He said: “We supply and support many sports organisations around the country and it seems logical to work closely with our own home town leading club.

“The development of grass roots football locally is extremely important to us, as is having Stamford playing at the highest level. We are delighted to have brought this deal to the table and formed a strong partnership with the area’s premier non league club.”

Paul Sherratt, Uhlsport Country Manager UK and Ireland, added: “I am excited by the prospect of working together to make this a successful partnership for all involved.”
