The repair work is coming to an end and the library will reopen on Tuesday, May 3.

The click and collect service will end on Saturday, April 23 to allow time for staff to move furniture and stock back to the main building.

Lincolnshire County Councillor Lindsey Cawrey (Con), who is responsible for libraries, said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming members back.

"The pitched roof replacement was the first phase of repairs to the library building, and over the coming months further work will take place on the site’s flat roof, windows and stone frontage. Thankfully, these works can go ahead without closing the building and should be completed later this year.”

All items on loan have had their return dates extended to Tuesday, May 24.
