Day to help people give sailing a go

Rutland Sailability, a sailing club which provides sailing opportunities for people with all types of disability, will be hosting its ‘Push The Boat Out’ event on Saturday, April 25.

Part of a nationwide ‘Push the Boat Out’ initiative being organised by the Royal Yachting Association, the event has been organised by the Rutland club to encourage people with disabilities to try sailing.

The event will give children and adults of all ages the chance to have a sailing taster session at the club free of charge.

Sessions will be conducted by fully qualified instructors in specially modified boats from 10.30am until 3pm, with the last session starting at 2.30pm. To book a session or to learn more about the sailing opportunities , please contact Rutland Sailability on 01778 590338.
