Death of patient with coronavirus in the care of trust that runs Peterborough City Hospital and Stamford Hospital

A patient with coronavirus has died in the care of North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, which runs Stamford Hospital and Peterborough City Hospital.

The patient, who is recorded as having died on Saturday (July 11) is the first to have died with coronavirus in one of the hospitals since June 26.

It brings the total number of people who have died with Covid-19 at one of the trust's three hospitals to 248.
