A DECISION on plans for a boutique hotel is likely to be made on Tuesday.
Hotel developer Agellus, submitted plans for a nine-bedroom hotel and 66-seat restaurant at 4 St Mary’s Place, Stamford in November.
The plans first came before South Kesteven District Council’s development control committee in February, when members said they were minded to refuse the application.
But councillors deferred the decision three times to allow discussion on kitchen ventilation.
The application will now go before the committee for a fourth time on Tuesday.
An environmental impact identified a number of problems with odour and noise in the design.
It said: “A means of odour control is specified that cannot practically function within the parameters identified and the design as shown in the application.
“[The cooking style] will require significant constraints.”
