AN AGRICULTURAL show attracted thousands of people over the weekend.

A total of 12,000 people flocked to the Deeping Agricultural Show and Country Fair over Saturday and Sunday to enjoy a wealth of entertainment in the arena.

Visitors were able to see animal displays, vintage machinery and browse around the various marquees and stalls.

Show committee chairman Ian Allen put this year’s success down to the good weather, which encouraged families out to the showground in Stamford Road, Market Deeping.

He said: “It was the best show we have had for three to four years, the weather was kind to us.

“We have had two to three bad years but this year the attendance was up.

“It was a very successful show all round.”
