Heavy delays due to two broken down cars on the A1 northbound between Wansford and Great Casterton, north of Stamford

There are delays of 21 minutes on the A1 northbound between the A47 junction for Wansford and north Stamford this afternoon (September 5).

Two broken down cars are causing one lane to be closed near to the Great Casterton junction.

Traffic is backing up to Wansford.


There are also road closures because of the Burghley Horse Trials.

Further north between the turn off for the A606 and the junction with Great Casterton, one lane is closed because a vehicle's tyre has blown out.
