Inspector Rachel Blackwell, neighbourhood policing inspector for Stamford, Bourne and the Deepings, delighted as Burghley Horse Trials 2019 pass without incident




The police inspector for Stamford has expressed her delight after the Burghley Horse Trials passed without incident.

Inspector Rachel Blackwell, neighbourhood policing inspector for Stamford, Bourne and the Deepings, was speaking as the trials finished for another year on Sunday (September 8).

She said: "I'm happy to report that the town was really busy and all of the nights passed in good spirits.

"There was a minor disturbance which was not related to Burghley."
