College principal and CEO Janet Meenaghan says the college offers a broad range of HE courses, apprenticeships and bespoke training.

It works with 270 employers on 360 apprenticeships and offers work experience with 600 local employers.

It offers a Gallery restaurant, staffed by trainees, operates a similar health and beauty salon and operates commercial ventures concerning MOT testing for vehicles, the plumbing trades and a gym.

The new centre would focus on business administration, IT professions and digital marketing.
