Lincolnshire Police put second dispersal order in place after spate of hare coursing

Lincolnshire Police has issued a second dispersal order across the county following an increase in hare coursing offences.

The first dispersal order, which requires any suspected hare coursers to leave the county, was put in place on Monday (December 27) for 48 hours.

With the police force continuing to receive reports, a second dispersal order was authorised and put in place from 1.05pm today (December 29).

Anyone who sees hare coursing taking place is asked to contact police immediately on 999 and provide a description of the people involved, registration numbers, vehicle descriptions, the location and direction of travel.

People are asked not to confront hare coursers or put themselves at risk.

Anyone with reports that are not happening here and now should contact officers on 101.
