Dogs Trust: Kickstart 2016 with a new companion for the long walks
We often start the new year outlining objectives to lose weight or eat less, but how about changing those and setting an objective to improve someone else’s life?
This year why not rescue a homeless hound from Dogs Trust Loughborough and give them a new start.
If you would like to find out more about any of the dogs featured, or any other dogs currently at Dogs Trust Loughborough, please either call 0300 303 0292 or visit them at Hill Farm, Wide Lane, Wymeswold, Loughborough, LE12 6SE
STORM: Storm is an eight month old Staffie, who can live with adults, older children but would prefer to be the only pet in the home. She hasn’t had the opportunity to experience much in the way of lead walking and dog socialisation during her early life, so her adopters must be dedicated to helping her understand and handle everyday situations, and will need to visit Storm at the centre multiple times to start working through some training programs with her before she goes home.
AMBER: Four year old crossbreed Amber is looking for an adult only home with no other pets. Amber likes being around people and is looking for owners that are around for most of the day.
BOO: Four month old lurcher puppy Boo must live with another canine friend who can show her the ropes and help her settle in. She can be wary of new people so will appreciate a delicate approach.
BONNIE: Two year old crossbreed Bonnie is looking for an adult only home where she is the only pet. She is looking for an adventurous new home with owners who can keep her busy and active.
COCO: Three year old Staffie Coco, is a happy, playful girl who enjoys the company of people and appreciates cuddles. She would happily live with adults, older children and another dog.
SUSHI: Sushi is a four year old crossbreed. She seeks a new family who can closely manage her interactions with people. Sushi would like to be the only pet in an adult only home.
CAPRIO: Caprio is an 18 month old lurcher who is on the look-out for his first home. Caprio will like you to visit him several times at the centre before you take him home.
