Superheroes from across Rutland have been doing their bit to raise funds for BBC Children in Need.

Nurseries, businesses, organisations and individuals held a variety of events to help the fundraising appeal, which took place on Friday last week and raised in excess of £32m.

Staff at EducationCity in Oakham, held their very own Children in Need Bake Off.

Talented bakers on the EducationCity team cooked up an array of tasty treats to be in the chance of winning a fabulous Bake Off trophy.

Staff member Alice Clayton won and in total they raised £70.

The D’Ukes of Rutland Ukulele Club raised £462 for Children In Need while busking on Oakham High Street.

They would like to thank the residents of Oakham for helping to raise this amount for a good cause.

Children at Ketton Playschool dressed as superheroes for Children In Need and made their very own Pudsey Bears.

Children at Kiddiwinks playgroup in Uppingham dressed up as superheroes on Tuesday and sold cakes, while musician, Malcolm Darby from Rutland played the keyboard at the Falcon Hotel in Uppingham to help the cause.

Pupils at Uppingham Community College £1,790 by dressing up and selling cakes.
