Planners will consider moves to bring Domino's Pizza to Bourne

Domino’s Pizza is cooking up plans to deliver a new outlet in Bourne.

The fast food giant has its sights set on18 Abbey Road.

But the company must first present plans for sound proofing and preventing cooking odours travelling to the residential flats above.

The move follows South Kesteven District Council granting planning approval in 2016 to convert a former shop on the site into a hot food take-away.

A sound installation report titled ‘Domino’s Bourne’ recommends work including an upgraded floor and ceiling.

It also noted the premises will only open until 11pm.

A Domino’s spokesman told the Mercury they were ‘not in a position to comment at the moment’.
