Police are searching for a missing man in the South Holland area.

Ryan Brooks (22), who police want to speak to in connection with an assault incident, left an address in Pinchbeck on Tuesday morning, using a car he had taken without permission. The car was then involved in a collision before being abandoned at Holbeach Drove.

The condition of the vehicle suggests that Ryan is likely to have suffered an injury and concern is increasing for his welfare. Officers searched for him throughout Tuesday, supported by police dogs and air support, but he has not yet been traced.

Ryan has dark hair, a moustache, and was wearing a bright blue sweatshirt. He may be carrying a black and white rucksack and is likely to have cuts, grazes and bruises.

Ryan may be behaving in an unpredictable manner so the public are asked not to approach him but to contact police immediately if they see him.

Anyone with information that may help the enquiry is asked to contact Lincolnshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 47 of November 24.
