Movie fans wanting to take advantage of an early bird offer for Burghley House’s blockbuster summer Film Festival have until Friday to snap up tickets.
The money-saving deal offering tickets at £10 for adults and £5 for children runs out on May 1, after which tickets increase to £12 and £6.
But if you miss the May deadline, there are still savings to be made right through until the end of July when the gate tickets will cost £14 and child tickets £7.
Burghley’s picturesque South Gardens in the grounds of the Elizabethan house near Stamford will again be transformed into a magical outdoor movie venue for the annual Film Festival, this year running from Wednesday, July 29 until Sunday, August 2.
Launching the festival will be a day devoted to the hugely successful “Lord of the Rings” trilogy, with all three movies being screened during Wednesday 29 July. Thanks to separate pricing for each movie, Tolkien fans will be able to pick and choose, or see them all.
With Burghley House as the spectacular backdrop, the five days and nights of fabulous films will also feature Disney’s “Frozen”, “Mary Poppins”, “Back to the Future”, “Blues Brothers”, “Ghostbusters” and “Some Like It Hot” among others.
For a full list of all the movies, prices and to book online tickets, visit Burghley’s website or telephone 01780 752451.
