Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue will be offering fire safety advice to landlords at an event next week.

Fire safety officer Mark Richardson will be one of three guest speakers at the South Kesteven Landlord’s Forum meeting taking place on September 27, between 9.30am and 12.30pm at the Guildhall Arts Centre.

Mr Richardson will provide information and guidance on how landlords can keep their properties fire safe and meet the latest government legislation. Steps include carrying out a fire safety risk assessment and ensuring correct fire safety equipment is provided, escape routes are accessible, furniture is fire safe and equipment is tested and maintained.
