Have your say

A hospice is appealing for donations from your wardrobe to be featured in its fashion spectacular, Glitterati.

Thorpe Hall Hospice in Longthorpe, Peterborough has set its sight on hosting a brand new fashion event and needs your help.

The hospice wants the shirt off your back, the coat off your hook and the dress out your wardrobe, to help raise money for the new hospice currently being built.

The fashion event, Glitterati will be staged at the hospice on February 7, showcasing top quality designer and high end high street fashion.

Thorpe Hall senior fundraiser, Jo Marriot said: “This is the first event of its type we have organised and we want to make sure our rails are packed full of gorgeous clothes.

“We all love a bargain and if it’s a designer bargain all the better! Glitterati will be a great opportunity to bag the kind of clothes you might not usually be able to afford with all the money raised going to the Thorpe Hall Capital Appeal.”

Donations of clothes in ‘excellent’ condition are needed for the event and all of the money raised from the sale of the clothes will go towards Thorpe Hall’s £6m appeal.

The fashion fun will begin at 10am on Saturday, February 7 with a pop up shop selling designer and high street clothes, shoes and accessories for men, women and children. Entry will cost £2.50.

If you have any good quality designer and high end high street items to donate for the event please call Thorpe Hall’s fundraising team on 01733 225999.
