STAFF and customers at a brewery depot joined together to bring some festive cheer.

A collection of gifts and donations was held at the Carlsberg distribution depot in Spalding Road, Bourne, in the run-up to Christmas.

The gifts were then handed over to the Len Pick Trust to give out to organisations around the town.

Depot manager Paul Jordan said: “As a company, we like to play our part in the community, and our staff and customers were very pleased to be able to build on the success of last year’s collection”.

Chairman of the Len Pick Trust Andy Rowe, added: “We were very pleased to co-operate with Carlsberg again.

“The goods were distributed to a number of local organisations including The Salvation Army, Toolbar, Bourne Wellbeing Group, The Butterfield Day Centre and also to Alison Pettit of Bourne Abbey Church who organises an annual Christmas Day lunch in the Church Hall.”
