Rutland CAMRA Beer Festival returns to Oakham for first time since 2019

Real ale connoisseurs welcomed back the Rutland CAMRA Beer Festival as it returned for the first time since 2019 last weekend.

The ninth annual festival, organised by the county branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), drew between 600 and 700 visitors to the Rutland County Museum, in Oakham, over four days.

The last two years were cancelled because of covid, while numbers at this year’s event were down slightly because of the national rail strike.
