LEARN MOREA Greggs drive through café could open in Oakham if plans are approved.
An application has been made to Rutland County Council for land at Hawksmead, off Lands End Way.
The plans include a single storey building for the café, parking spaces, and 10 electric car charging points.
Proposed opening hours are 6am to 7pm weekdays and Saturdays, and 7am to 5pm Sundays.
The Rutland County Council planning application reference is 2022/0691/FUL.
In a design and access statement submitted to the council's planning department, Jason Edwards, agent for the developer, said the site is located in a commercial area of Oakham and offers employment opportunities.
Members of Rutland County Council planning committee will meet to decide whether or not to give the development the go ahead.
The site is currently empty.
