Two young girls who were injured in an accident have been giving presentations on road safety at their school.
Molly Williams and Willow James, who are in Year 7 at Bourne Academy, have been leading assemblies during a special road safety week at the school.
Assistant headteacher Brett Sinclair said: “I was fortunate enough to see the first of their assemblies and it was a very moving experience, expertly put together. The Year 7 audience were impressed and certainly the presentation was met with gasps of amazement as the girls described the stages in their recovery from such severe injuries.”
The girls were hit by a minibus on the A15 at Northorpe. They were flown to hospital but have since made a full recovery.
