TASTY baked goods helped a school raise more than £360.

The parent and teacher association at Baston Primary School organised its first Great Big Baston Bake-Off, which took place at the school on Thursday last week.

Children in Key Stages 1 and 2 and adults baked up a storm and Emma Bush, who is treasurer of the association, said it was a tough competition.

She said: “We had some really good entries and the judges enjoyed tasting everything that had been baked.

“We had some really positive feedback and it is something we hope to do again next year.”

Mrs Bush said the money raised will go into the association’s pot.
