CHILDREN at Billingborough Primary School entered a fantasy world when they celebrated World Book Day.
Pupils from the Snowflakes class dressed up as their favourite book characters and introduced themselves to fellow classmates before talking about their favourite stories.
The characters ranged from James Bond and Harry Potter to Peppa Pig and Buzz Lightyear.
School staff also took part in the fancy dress day. Their costumes included Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, Little Red Riding Hood, Goldilocks, a bear and a rabbit.
Class teacher Andrea McCormack said: “World Book Day is always such a popular event.
“The children and staff dressed up as many different characters from their favourite books and we were able to share these books with each other throughout the day,”
