Pupils were treated to a range of extra-curricular activities in school.
Baston Primary School parent teacher association organised two fun days for children.
Key Stage 1 pupils were given a show by a puppet theatre company. They each got to use a puppet and loved making them talk and act.
Parent teacher association chair Lisa Squires said: “The idea was to give the children confidence in both speaking and to be able to use their imagination when writing creative stories.”
And Key Stage 2 pupils learned about crime scene investigation on a forensic science day.
Lisa said: “Both of these days were thoroughly enjoyed by all the children and we were happy to be able to provide the children with some different learning experiences in school.”
