A primary school is celebrating after being named one of the 100 best in the UK.
Langham Primary School has been placed at number 91 in the Parent Power list, rising from 146th last year.
The list is an annual guide to the top performing schools in the country based on pupil performance in Sats and is produced by The Sunday Times.
Headteacher Janet Lord said: “To be ranked not just within the top 300 primary schools in the country, but to be 91st, is simply outstanding.
“This is particularly impressive when you think that there are around 20,000 primary schools in the UK.
“It really is a testament to the hard work and dedication of all our teachers to ensure that the education we provide is stimulating and engaging for all of our pupils. One of the secrets of our success is that we never sit still and are always looking for new ways to excite our children’s learning in this ever changing world.”
