FOOTBALLERS and rugby players will be stepping onto the pitch in new sportswear for their future matches.

Children at The Bythams Primary School have received 20 new kits thanks to a donation from PSP Systems, a business services company in Bourne.

Company directors Joe Verde, who has a child at the school, and Brett Caruso paid for the kits to give the teams a much-needed makeover.

Headteacher James Shawley said: “The old kits were getting outdated and we needed something for the older children to wear when they compete against other schools.

“The kits are a fantastic donation and will help our sports teams to form their own identity on the pitch.”

The school’s football team was due to wear its new kits for the first time in a league match this week.

PSP also donated £1,500 for a new software system at the school.
