A TEAM of former Red Arrows pilots visited a Stamford school to share their tales from the skies.
Three members of the Blades Aerobatic Team spent time with the children at Malcolm Sargent Primary School on Monday last week.
Myles Garland, Andy Evans and Mark Cutmore hosted an assembly where they showed the children film clips of what it is like to fly as a Red Arrow and also spoke about their experiences as part of the team.
The children then spent the day learning map reading and navigation skills. They also drew maps of Rutland before comparing them to real maps.
Some of the children also had a chance to try on the pilots’ flying uniforms.
