A couple who dedicated years of service to a primary school were invited back to open a new play area.
Staff, pupils and parents at Market Deeping Primary School welcomed Jeff and Angela Rowell to the official opening ceremony.
Mrs Rowell taught at the primary school from 1971 until 2008 and her husband, a self-employed quantity surveyor, served on the governing body for 22 years.
They unveiled a plaque to mark the opening of the play area.
Headteacher Nigel Manders-Jones said: “Jeff and Angie have contributed an enormous amount of time and effort to the school and we were happy to take this opportunity to thank them.”
