PUPILS were rewarded for their work at a prizegiving ceremony.
Stamford Queen Eleanor School held its annual awards night on Tuesday last week.
Prizes for attendance, effort, achievement and progress were given out, along with the range of individual prizes which have been donated to the school over a number of years.
Headteacher Wendy Hamilton said: “I am very pleased, it is one of the highlights of the year.
“It is a fantastic opportunity to congratulate the pupils on all they have achieved and it is great for parents to come out and see what their children have done.
“It is also great to see former Year 11 pupils come back, talk to us about their experiences and see each other again.”
Director of Burghley House Miranda Rock gave a speech at the ceremony.
