DRAMA pupils went back to their childhoods with a performance of Roald Dahl’s The Witches.
The Year 11 pupils from Stamford Queen Eleanor School staged the production as part of their GCSE course, supported by art and design pupils who made the props.
Two performances took place at the school this week.
Head of drama, Gemma Gaynor, said: “I am so proud of all the students. It was an amazing show and an extraordinary effort from all involved.”
Headteacher Wendy Hamilton added: “The students have spent so long preparing and have had a lot to live up to as the last two years have seen excellent performances.
“It is always good when it has been a whole school effort with students from different years helping with different elements of the show.”
The pupils were delighted with the reaction from their audiences.
