A FUTURE paralympic hopeful visited Baston Primary School on Thursday to inspire the pupils.
Table tennis player Emily Turner from Stamford visited the school as part of Lloyds TSB Local Heroes programme.
The programme supports the future stars of Team GB and ParalympicsGB by funding emerging athletes across Britain.
Chairman of Baston PTA Lisa Squires said: “This is our third visit from a Local Hero and the children really love it.
“The children all love table tennis so they were particularly interested to meet Emily.”
Emily spoke at the school assembly and then supported the pupils while they took part in athletics events.
