TEENAGERS organised sport festivals for primary schools.

Year 10 and 11 pupils from The Deepings School planned three events as part of their Junior Sports Leaders Award scheme.

The first was a hockey festival, held at the secondary school, which the youngsters enjoyed despite the wind.

The second was a cricket festival held at Market Deeping Cricket Club’s Outgang Road and the third was a multi-skills session.

Deepings School award co-ordinator Caroline Russon said: “Well done to all of the Junior Sports Leader pupils who have worked hard over the past year.”
