On June 14, the 27-strong team made up of employees, family and friends with very mixed abilities, will be forging ahead and digging deep into their energy reserves as they complete their sponsored challenges of 3, 17 or 26 miles in aid of Rainbows Hospice in Loughborough.

“It’s a great day for everyone, as employees and families from all departments of the company get involved to support the corporate cause,” explains Richard Whalley, EducationCity’s managing director.

“Our teams are always up for a challenge meeting work deadlines, so it’s great to harness that same enthusiasm outside the office environment whilst securing funds for Rainbows to continue helping the children and families that desperately need their support.”

The team is aiming to raise £1,000 for Rainbows through its efforts and will be setting off at 9.30am from Normanton.
