Elderly man dies after being found in vehicle

An elderly man has died after being found in his vehicle at Market Deeping.

Community policing inspector for Stamford, Bourne and the Deepings, Inspector Ian Martin, said police had received reports of a man in his vehicle at Deepings Rangers Football Club.

"It is believed he had suffered a medical incident," said Inspector Martin, adding the man is thought to be 76 years old.

"Police and the ambulance service attended but unfortunately he had passed away.

"It does not look suspicious at this time but investigations are ongoing.

"The next of kin have been made aware."
