At noon today (Friday), the counting of votes for candidates standing for South Kesteven District Council began.

Fifty-six councillors will make up the district council, and it is the voters who took to polling stations yesterday who decide which candidates take the seats in the council chamber.

The count is taking place at The Meres Leisure Centre in Grantham, where we have reporters covering the event.
