Severn Trent Water to carry out emergency repairs on the A6003 Oakham bypass
Severn Trent Water has been given permission to carry out emergency repairs to part of its water network along the A6003, Burley Park Way - also known as Oakham bypass.
The work is to repair to a significant water leak near to the Stamford Road/A606 roundabout and will start today (Wednesday, February 5).
Due to the location of the main and the repairs that are needed, this work can only be done safely under four-way traffic lights. This may result in some significant traffic delays.
Drivers are advised to try and find alternative routes or allow extra time to complete their journey if they are using this route.
