Emergency services at Bourne Woods due to 'incident'

Emergency services were called to Bourne Woods just before lunch time due to an 'incident.'

Community policing inspector for Stamford, Bourne and the Deepings, Ian Martin confirmed Lincolnshire Police were at the scene, along with other emergency services.

He told the Mercury: "It's isolated and involving an individual but nothing of wider concern."

Insp Martin said he could not give any further details.

The incident was reported to police around 11.30am with officers arriving some minutes later.

A person has posted on social media that police, paramedics and an air ambulance are in attendance at the woods.
