A PUB which closed its doors earlier this year is now up for sale.

The Marquis of Granby, in Abbey Road, Bourne, is on the market with Christie and Co for £185,000 plus VAT as a freehold.

A spokesman for Enterprise Inns, which is selling the building and business, would not confirm when the pub ceased trading.

She said: “Enterprise Inns can confirm that the Marquis of Granby is on the market for disposal, through Christie and Co.

“They are currently in discussion with prospective purchasers.”

A company called IT Pub Management is currently overseeing the empty pub’s security.
