Energy minister Claire Perry addresses Grantham and Stamford Tory dinner




Grantham and Stamford Conservatives staged their annual patrons club winter dinner in Stamford last week.

The Lady Thatcher Patrons’ Club Dinner took place at the Willliam Cecil Hotel, St Martin’s Stamford. Energy minister Claire Perry MP was guest speaker, taking the place of business secretary Greg Clark, who was originally due to attend.

Association chairman Philip Sagar said Claire was well-received at the Thursday evening event and she spoke honestly about Brexit policies, offering reassurance the government would reach a deal. Other topics covered included the high street, the environment and as members why they are Conservative.
