Tickets are now on sale for an evening of music at All Saints Church in Oakham on March 27, presented by The Stamford Concert Singers in support of Rutland Sailability.

The singers are an established group with a wide range of music styles including ensemble and solo pieces from shows, operas and the music hall.

The group of singers will be supporting Rutland Sailability, a charity that provides sailing opportunities at Rutland Water for people with disabilities.

Special guests, The Lord Lieutenant of Rutland, Dr Laurence Howard, and the High Sherrif of Rutland, Miles Williamson-Noble will be attending the musical event.

All of the proceeds from the concert will go towards the support of disabled sailors at Rutland Sailability.

Alongside an evening of music, The Singers will also put on a full costume performance of Gilbert and Sullivan’s comedy take on the judicial system ‘Trial by Jury!’.

The concert will begin at 7.30pm and tickets can be bought in advance for £8 by e-mailing Jim Fleming at flemingjandb@msn.com or you can call Jim on 01780 756300.

Tickets are also available to purchase at the Oakham Music Shop or tickets can be bought on the door for £10.
