Prebendal House in Empingham opens garden for National Garden Scheme

A formal walled garden, herbaceous borders and yew tree walks combine - along great cake - to make for a fabulous afternoon out tomorrow (Sunday, July 11).

As part of the National Garden Scheme, Prebendal House in Empingham will open its gates from 1.30pm to 5pm.

During that time visitors can enjoy yew tree walks and explore the large 18th Century walled garden.

Tickets are £6 (children free) and can be pre-booked online at www.ngs.org.uk. Cash payments are also possible on the day.

Homemade teas will be available and proceeds from the event will go to the For Rutland charity.
