FAIRGROUND rides were up and running for people to enjoy in Bourne at the weekend.
Tuby’s autumn fun fair opened on Friday night last week and stayed Tuesday night in Burghley Street car park.
Families and youngsters enjoyed the fair which comes to the town every year.
Roger Tuby, who is a partner in the business with his son, also Roger, said it wasn’t as busy as previous years.
He said this was most likely due to the current financial climate which everyone is suffering from at the moment.
Mr Tuby said: “It was OK, but it was a lot quieter than usual.
“We had seven different rides for people to enjoy, big and small, as well as eight stalls with things like hook-a-duck, darts and a shooting range.”
Tuby’s fair has been coming to Bourne for more than 30 years, and Mr Tuby said it is always nice to revisit the town.
He added: “We are always made to feel welcome when we return to Bourne.
“We look forward to going back next year.”
