Workers at Hanson Cement in Ketton are concerned about the increased risk of spreading coronavirus when 200 contractors travel to the site to carry out maintenance work during lockdown




Two hundred contractors will travel to Ketton during lockdown to carry out maintenance work at Hanson Cement.

The site manager says the work is vital to meet environmental requirements but staff are concerned about the risk of spreading Covid-19.

One worker, who asked not to be named, said: “Is it really right to be bringing people in from all over the country and abroad during a national lockdown?
