“I was walking around Morrisons when I had the idea for the business.

“Networking groups were costing businesses and self-employed a lot of money and they also required regular attendance.

“Some of them had a 'two strikes and you are out' policy but business doesn’t work like this.”

Felicity, who also runs telemarketing firm, Talk Results, has been nominated for Businessperson of the Year at the Mercury Business Awards.

Talk Networking puts on the monthly networking sessions at Mama Liz’s in Stamford and has between 35 to 40 people attending each meeting.

She will find out if she has won the national prize at a ceremony at Wembley Stadium in December.

The Mercury Business Awards winners will be announced at Greetham Valley on Friday, September 20.
