A film-maker drew on his own experiences to create a short work about testing for HIV.

Edward Buxton wrote and directed Finger Prick to reflect the challenges faced as a young gay man living in a rural community.

Its main character Alexi struggles to deal with his feelings of shame and guilt as he takes a HIV test in the family bathroom.
