A popular film night at Stamford Arts Centre has raised £1,345 for the Rutland branch of WaterAid.

Visitors enjoyed wine and canapes before a screening of Summer in February, which is based on the true story of a love triangle centred around artist A J Munnings.

The charity, which raises money to help provide safe water and sanitation in poor communities in Africa, has thanked supporters who helped raise the funds.
