Reader video: Tornados make final flight over RAF Cottesmore
Crowds of people gathered at RAF Cottesmore to witness the final flypast of the Tornados.
The farewell flight roared across clear blue skies, giving people incredible views of the jets, which have been retired after 40 years' service.
The farewell tour was scheduled over three days to take in 35 military locations. After their visit to Cottesmore the planes were scheduled at RAF Cosford, home of the RAF Museum in Shropshire just 15 minutes later.
The Tri-National Tornado Training Establishment (TTTE) was based at RAF Cottesmore from 1981 to 1999.
It performed training for the Royal Air Force, Luftwaffe and Italian Air Force.
