The Annual General Meeting of the Bourne and District Neighbourhood Watch Association will be held at 7.30pm on Monday, November 16 at the fire station in South Street.

The meeting provides the opportunity for co-ordinators to chose their chairman, secretary and treasurer for 2015/2016.

Nominations for the treasurer are particularly welcome as this is an important role but not very time consuming as the association has only a small number of financial transactions each year.

Members of the public are welcome to attend as the police representatives will issue a report on community policing in the South Lincolnshire area and they will be quite happy to answer or to seek answers to any queries regarding the work of the police in the area.

If anyone wants to know more about Neighbourhood Watch or is thinking of starting a local group, they are also welcome to attend and members will give you information.

Anyone who can’t attend the meeting and wishes to find out more can call the current chairman on 01778 425438.
